2021 The 11th Nano Webinar
Since last year, Research Association of Nanostructured Polymer has been planning nano webinar and holding lectures by online distribution. We plan to continue the project this year and hold it about three times a year.
At the 11th nano webinar, which is the third time this year, we took up the theme of cellulose nanofiber (CNF) and asked lecturers from universities and companies who are active on the front lines to give lectures. CNF is a new material with various features such as light weight, high strength, and low coefficient of linear thermal expansion, and is expected to be applied to a wide range of industrial fields. I think you can hear about the latest R & D trends in companies and universities. We hope that many people will participate and actively exchange opinions.
Sponsor: NPO Research Association of Nano structured polymer
Date and time: Wednesday, March 16, 2022 13: 00-15: 10
Method: Online using the web (Zoom)
program:
13: 00-13: 10 Greetings: Toshio Nishi, Representative Director, Nanostructure Polymer Research Association
13: 10-14: 10 Chairman Yumitsu Usuki Deputy Representative Director, Nanostructure Polymer Research Association
Presenter: Keiichi Kajita Senior Researcher, CNF Creation Center, Innovation Promotion Headquarters, Oji Holdings Co., Ltd.
Title: Manufacture of Phosphorylated Cellulose Nanofibers and Their Properties (Tentative)
Abstract: We have succeeded in developing phosphorylated CNF. In this talk, we will broadly outline the characteristics of phosphorylated CNF. Specifically, we will introduce the characteristics of the aqueous dispersion of CNF, its applications, and various forms of CNF such as transparent sheets, hydrophobic CNFs, and composites with resins.
14: 10-15: 10 Chairman Kenji Aoki Director, Nanostructure Polymer Research Association
Presenter: Yoshikuni Teramoto Department of Forestry Science, Graduate School of Agriculture, Kyoto University
Subject: Evaluation of the hierarchical structure of bio-nanomaterials and their composite materials
Abstract: Introducing efforts to evaluate hierarchical structural information (functional group distribution, presence / absence of bonds, dispersibility, etc.) that has been overlooked in bio-nanomaterials such as cellulose nanofibers and their composite materials.
